6 children, I am the eldest, this man was very special, ask the elders in Stillwater, MN & Bayport. We grew up in what was rural Ramsey Co. Amazing how he allowed me to be more than I would have. A man that could meld folks to do what they didn't think they could. Dealing with my marriage over 50 yrs.ago, he would have preferred something more traditional, he was OK. Only now do I realize, this man taught me to be self sufficient, as I am now, the guy gave me tools, to a daughter? How unusual in the 50's Washington mounted patrol, Rube Granquist, Our Family; Me Judith V., Thomas W, Patricia E., Gayle E., Jacquiline., Virginia.,Ginny. @ 75 yrs. I can't imagine having a better childhood, or Father, I was nursing at St. Lukes when he died, I learned to let go, but will never forget a very special man, who is still effecting others through his kids, we remember
