He had siblings Clarence Hawking, Albert Herbert James Hawking, John Hawking, Sarah Jane Hawking, Roy John Hawking, Ernest Hawking, and Alice Beatrice Hawking. He married Agnes Glen Hawking, and had a child Annie Dallas Hawking. Harold Hawking died at age 76 years old on January 11, 1970 in Frankston, City of Frankston County.
