He had siblings James Richard Pattie, Thomas William Pattie, Ernest Henry Pattie, Grace Mary (Pattie) Arnold, George Edwin Pattie, William Pattie, Amy Patience Pattie, Arthur Roy Pattie, and Herbert Victor Pattie. He married Jessie Gordon (Grant) Pattie, and had children Stella Berenice Pattie, Neil Francis Pattie, Gordon James Pattie, Leslie Richard Pattie, and Jack Stewart Pattie. Henry Pattie died at age 69 years old on May 16, 1953 in Ballarat.
