He married Rosemary McDaniel on June 25th 1942 in Lonoke Arkansas, and they had four children including Barbara Anna Takenaka who was born in 1948 and passed away in 1998. Harry was a Private First Class in the United States Army during World War 2. He enlisted on February 7th 1942 and was discharged on December 3rd 1945.
