Hattie Jacques was born on February 7, 1922 in Sandgate, Kent County, England United Kingdom to Robin Jacques and Mary A Thorn, and had a brother Robin Jacques. She married John Le Mesurier on November 10, 1949 and they later divorced on August 31, 1965. She had children Robin Le Mesurier and Kim Le Mesurier.
