Hattie Parker-Jones was a homemaker and known for great food, wisdom, and loved her family. Affectionately known as Big Momma by her grandchildren. One could always count on a meal being on the table weather you told her you were coming or not. She had a vibe for visitors surfacing and would cook up a meal pending her gut instinct of having visitors. She loved The Johnny Carson show and would sit in her rocking chair and watch it daily then head off to bed. Hattie died Oct 1982 in Lake Village AR -Chicot Memorial Hospital of heartache. Leaving to cherish her memories her children (Grover Jr, Booker T, Lon Douglas, Lee Ellis, Annie Mary, Glennie Mae, Ollie Mary and Victoria) and plenty of grandchildren...preceeded in death by her husband Grover Jones Sr
