Thinking of my grandmother Helen on the 30th anniversary of her passing, 11/15/21.
My grandmother Helen was a remarkable woman, vivacious and full of energy. A socialite who loved to entertain and meet people, she was often compared to "Auntie Mame". A world traveler who had a fondness for the Orient. And also, she would think nothing of driving cross country in her station wagon with only a canine companion to visit friends and relatives Out West.
