Helen Rose Konopacki 1923 - 2020
Helen Rose (Indyk) Konopacki was born on August 7, 1923 in Jamesburg, Middlesex County, New Jersey United States to Kazimier Indyk and Petronella (Koza) Indyk, and had siblings John Indyk, Joseph Stanley Indyk, Francis Casimir Indyk, George William Indyke, Henry Walter Indyk, Walter Agustus Indyke, Anna Nancy Robak, Stanley Edward Indyk, Katherine (Indyk) Kalinowski, and Mary Anne O'Brien. She married Benjamin Stanley Konopacki on October 15, 1946 in South River, Middlesex County, NJ, and they were married until Benjamin's death on June 4, 2006 at St. Peter's University Hospital 254 Easton Ave., in New Brunswick. She had children Judith Charlotte Dolman, Dennis Charles Konopacki, Thomas Brian Konopacki, Benjamin Stanley Konopacki Jr., and Carol Ann Makris. Helen Konopacki died at age 97 years old on December 2, 2020 in South River, Middlesex County, NJ, and was buried on December 8, 2020 at Holy Cross Burial Park & MSLM 840 Cranbury South River Rd, in Jamesburg.

Helen (Indyk) Konopacki passed away Wednesday,December 2,2020,at her home. She was 97. Born in Jamesburg,she lived there until 1946 when she moved to South River. Helen was a parishioner of St. Mary Ostrabama Roman Catholic Church,South River,where she was a member of the Rosary Society. Prior to her marriage,she worked as a Secretary to the Principal of the old Jamesburg High School. Helen was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years,Benjamin (2006) and her brothers Frank,John,Walter,Stanley,Joseph,Henry and George Indyk;sisters Catherine Kalinowski,Anne Robak and Mary O'Brien. Surviving are her sons,Dennis Konopacki and his Ornella of Italy,Thomas Konopacki and his wife Lori,of Old Bridge,Benjamin Konopacki Jr. and his wife,Catherine of Monroe Township;daughters,Judith Dolman of Fort Bragg,CA,and Carol Makris and her husband John,of Vero Beach,FL;5 grandchildren,Bryan and his wife Andrea,Paul and his wife Kristine,Lauren,Christina and her husband Zach and Alex; 2 great-grandchildren,Jaxon and Harley. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday,December 8,2020 at 8:15 at The Brunswick Memorial Home,454 Cranbury Road,East Brunswick,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Ostrabama Roman Catholic Church,South River. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park,South Brunswick. Family and friends may visit on Monday,December 7,2020,from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
