He had siblings Jane Sophia (Chapman) Rudduck, Annette (Chapman) Rudduck ( Latham, John Berry Chapman, and Frederick John Chapman. He married Isabella (Gibson) Chapman, and had children Gladys Chapman, Alan Rutherford Chapman, and Douglas Chapman. Henry Chapman died at age 83 years old on June 21, 1940 in Dromana, VIC.
