Henry was my Great Uncle, he had been a miner but I believe his true passion was wood working and carpentry. I have been told that he was a very kind man and loved by many. Henry Clay was the son of Henry Goodman and Sarah"Sally "Robinson , and was born in Mt Olive Casey Co Ky w where he spent his younger years but moved to Scott Co Tennessee as a young boy and spent the rest of his life in the area. Henry had Two sisters Burnetta Goodman who married G Wesley Owens and Rosetta Goodman who married Mathew Alcorn.
Henry married Florida "Flo" Smith . Although some have been confused over his relationship to Canzada Goodman she was not his daughter she was his 1/2 sister. After Henry clays mother Sally died his father remarried Nancy W West and Canzada was their child.
Henry Clay died at the age of 90 and is buried at Sexton Memorial Paint Rock Tennessee.
