The Weekly Times. Melbourne. 21st May 1904. DRIVING FATALITY. NORTH FITZROY RESIDENT KILLED. Mr. Henry Males, a resident of 19 Falconer street, North Fitzroy, died between 12 and 1 o'clock on Tuesday, in consequence of injuries sustained on Sunday afternoon while driving in a high dog cart. Mr. Males had with him his son, Henry, aged 13. At the corner of Mark and Falconer streets the horse plunged suddenly, and Mr. Males was thrown violently upon the road. The son's fall was broken by the horse, which he struck first. He escaped unhurt. Mr. Males sustained concussion of the brain, and gradually sank and died without regaining consciousness.
