  • Obituary

    Henry's obituary appeared in the February 22, 1907 issue of the Mount Vernon News (although it seems to be written from the Mitchell point of view based on the direction it indicates the farm lies from town). Here it is: Henry Wieczorek, aged 47 years, residing southwest of town in Baker township, died Sunday night about 12 o'clock. Services were held at the house Tuesday afternoon conducted by a minister from Marion Junction. The deceased had always been a hardy, robust man and his death is deeply regretted. A wife and several children survive him. The funeral was largely attended. Interment took place in the Union cemetery.
