    Father of three children: Herbert, Vernon and Phillip. Married to Elizabeth Woodbury Butler. Musician in Portland, Maine. Was a radio announcer and for a short period of time had a local television show and radio show (WGAN) in Portland. Good personality and people enjoyed meeting and interacting with him. He was a very good writer and spent hours playing the various musical instruments including, the piano, organ and the accordian. Herbert Edwin Slezinger, Jr.
