Hertha Alice (Ehrhardt) Brown was born on April 11, 1892 in Boonville, Warrick County, Indiana USA to Henry Ehrhardt and Permelia (Aylsworth) Ehrhardt, and had siblings Lawrence Ehrhardt, Clara Louise (Ehrhardt) Renschler, Mary (Ehrhardt) Richmond, Emma (Ehrhardt) Morris, and Henry G Ehrhardt. She married Lester Brown on October 28, 1911 in Warrick County, IN, and had children Lola Marie (Fisher) Walker and Norma R Walker. Hertha Brown died at age 92 years old on December 15, 1984 at Warrick County Hospital in Boonville, IN, and was buried on December 18, 1984 at Folsomville Cemetery in Folsomville.

    She always ate the same food for breakfast, every single day, 1 fried egg (cold) with relish and mustard covering the egg. I remember her saying “I don’t want No part of no chicken or no cow. That’s why my egg’s like this sos I ain’t got to see it.” I thought she was very sweet, at least she was to me, her great-grand daughter, and I loved going to see her for 2wks every summer.
