A very sweet and loving woman. She had a twin sister, name Celia. She wasn't a very tall woman. She had red hair. By the time I got to my grandmother she wore dentures and was hard of hearing but her heart was huge. She gave a great deal of herself. A stroke during on or about 1975 broke my grandfather's heart and I believe contributed to his death. I truly believe that he died of a broken heart. My grandmother lost her voice and never again regained speech. Additional strokes left her bed ridden and incapacitated. She had to be be permanently hospitalized and received few visits. I regret I did not visited her a great deal. It broke my heart to see a vibrant, outgoing woman in such a vegetative state. I miss her dearly.
