Grandma was a very intelligent and religious person. She was one of the very few women in our family to graduate college. Although she had a horrible childhood she was an understanding loving person. I lived with her and Grandpa most of my life. She worked at the factory and came home to take care of all us grandkids. She also planted a huge garden and canned or froze everything so we would always have healthy foods. She was the glue that held everything together even at the worst of times. She gave her all without ever asking anything in return. She truly was the wind beneath our wings and I miss her terribly.
