Horatio Valentine Roper 1853 - 1916

Horatio Valentine Roper of Bendigo Australia was born in April 1853 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire County, England United Kingdom to John Adam Roper and Sarah Harris Roper. Horatio Roper had siblings Emily Frances (Roper) Haynes and Alfred Henry Roper. He married Ann Rogers (Beel) Roper on April 14, 1873 in Castlemaine County, Victoria Australia. They had children Mary Sarah Constance Roper, Frederick Horatio Roper, Alfred Joseph Roper, Henry Cecil Roper, and Hubert Rogers Roper. He would also marry Mary Ellen Tredrea in 1905. Horatio Roper died at age 63 years old on June 11, 1916 in Bendigo, Greater Bendigo City County, VIC Australia.
