    After serving 2 terms on the front line in Korea for the US Army, Howard opened a TV repair shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later he worked for Rocketdyne in the San Fernando Valley in S. California. He gained enough knowledge and experience to start his own company Dimetrics, Inc. He was a pioneer in automatic welding equipment and had many patents.
