Hughena Mary Irving (Grant) Mitchell of Hawthorn, City of Boroondara County, VIC Australia was born on July 20, 1879 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County to Neil Grant and Margaret Maule Grant. She had siblings John Francis Grant, Louise Maude Victoria Grant, Margaret Alexandria Grant, Lillian Stella Grant, George Stewart Grant, James Neil Grant, and Jessie Gordon (Grant) Pattie. She married Henry Chennell Mitchell in 1908, and had children Margaret Mary Mitchell, Hughena Maude Mitchell, and Stella Jean Mitchell. Hughena Mitchell died at age 82 years old in 1961 in Hawthorn, City of Boroondara County.
