Icek, his brothers were born to Berisz and Chawa (née Fiszhof) in Czestochowa, Poland where he lived at Aleja 8.
Nationality & Locations

Icek was in the "Big Ghetto," the "Small Ghetto," and HASAG Pelcery, from where he was deported to Germany and was in the Gross-Rosen and Dora concentration camps. He was liberated on May 3rd 1945 at Neustadt Holstein. He and his wife Bronia arrived in Montreal, Canada in 1948.
Personal Life & Family

Following liberation, he married Bronia Szajniak from Czestochowa, Poland. They had a son Bernie, who is studied at McGill University. The Yablon (Jabłonkiewicz) family members were known as involved communal activists. Icek Yablon was active in founding the Hairdressers' Union in Czestochowa, Poland. He takes part in the Society's activities.
