WELDON — Ida Mae Gregory, 67, of 1327 Elm St., Weldon, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at Wake Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus Gregory; her parents, Willie Charles Ellis and Pearl Malone Ellis; and two brothers, Willie and Waverly Ellis.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Gregory (Sherry) of Garysburg and Adolphus Gregory Jr. (Linda) of Rocky Mount; her daughters, Debra Todd (Ricky), Brenda Gregory and Christine Smith (Robbie), all of Roanoke Rapids; her brothers, Charles Ellis (Betty), Thomas Ellis and Lloyd Ellis (Beverly), all of Roanoke Rapids; her sisters, Glenda Smith of Roanoke Rapids and Yvonne Wilhelm of Emporia, Va.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service in Roanoke Rapids, which is handling the arrangements, and other times at 1284 American Legion Road, Roanoke Rapids.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, in the chapel of the funeral home, with Minister Randy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
