Ila Gilling died at age 71 years old on June 15, 1963 in St. Thomas, Elgin County, Ontario.

She was the mother of Frank John Richard Gilling and Jack Gilling. She passed away on June 15, 1963 from a Massive Stroke and she is buried at the Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Thomas, Elgin, Ontario, Canada.

She passed away on June 15, 1962 St. Thomas Elgin Ontario Canada from a massive heart attack. She leaves behind her daughter-in-law Marguerite Ruth Gilling, Granddaughter Gloria Jean Gilling and Niece Meryl Bissett.
