Whilst attending school in San Francisco, Ileana commuted in the early morning with her father during grammar school and then the school secretary, Josephine Lockner during the high school years. Because of this, Ileana wakes up early to this day accustomed to early mornings. Colleges include Skyline College, San Bruno, CA and Corinthian College, Heald College, Concord, CA. Professional development and online college courses continued throughout Ileana's long career which began in 1981 at Bechtel Power Corporation. Ileana has worked had careers at Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Andersen Consulting/Accenture Consulting Firm. Happily married to Victor Joseph Meraz, Ileana enjoys time with family and friends and has a deep love for animals, in particular dogs. Ileana has travelled in and out of the USA throughout her life.
