    Vivian Inez (McIlveene) Myers' father was Henry Grover McIlveene (1891 - 1976) and her mother was Linnie Vernon Holland (1904 - 1989). She had siblings Gordon J. and Grover Bemus McIlveene. Inez was the youngest. When she was 6 months old, Inez was known as Vivian I. and living with her parents and older brothers in Brister, Arkansas. Dad was a farmer. At age 10, Inez (now known as Inez, not Vivian) and her family were still living in Brister but they had added to the household: Linnie's mother and sister, Jimmie and Melva Wallace, came to live with them, as well as Lodger Jessie Holand. Dad was still a farm laborer, as was lodger Jessie. Vivian McIlveene married Hiram Lesley Myers (1925 - 1997) on November 9, 1947, in Brister, Arkansas.     The following obituary was published by Bailey Mortuary, Inc., Springhill, Louisiana: Obituary for Inez Vivian McIlveene Myers Lufkin, TX Funeral services for Mrs. Inez McIlveene Myers, age 79, will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 3:30 PM in the Bailey Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Bill Ichter officiating. Interment will follow in Christies Chapel Cemetery, Emerson, AR under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA. Visitation will begin Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Myers was born December 14, 1929 in Magnolia, AR to Grover B. and Linnie Holland McIleene and passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009 in Lufkin, TX following a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Lufkin, TX for the past two and half years and a former resident of Minden, LA and Springhill, LA. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Methodist faith, a homemaker and was the youngest child of her parents. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda JoAnn Brannon and husband, Richard of Lufkin, TX; sons, Lawrence Aswald Myers of Lufkin, TX, Marshall Duane Myers and wife, Ruth of DeFuniak Springs, FL; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie Hiram Myers and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Travis Wilburn, Steven Arnold, Aaron Schapcote, Michael Brannon, Richard Brannon, Martin Andrus and Ben Brannon.
