Irene was my great-grandmother on my mother’s side of my family. I was only 2 1/2 years old when she passed. I have almost no memory of her but I do have a memory of her just no more than one time I remember us looking at each other in the eyes and that alone makes me sure that she and I are deeply connected somehow.
