    It says that she was born into the Kupfrian family. She was actually born into the Coletti family, Her parents Costanza and Cataldo Coletti, emigrated from a village called San Donato Val di Comino, which is 68½ miles east of Roma. She was born, Isabella, but the school Americanized her name to Isabelle. She married Laurance Backer Kupfrian in 1944, and had four children; Lauralee Constance, Laurance Backer II, Paul Conrad and Russell Arthur Kupfrian. She was a hard working and loving mother and wife.
