She had siblings Fredrick Koeppel, Jr., Rosezella Koeppel, John Koeppel, William Koeppel, Alma Koeppel, Dorothy Koeppel, Theodore Koeppel, Halcyon Koeppel, and Shirley Koeppel. She married John "Jack" Goben, and had children Georgianna Goben Yarrow, Donna Goben Andresen, and Sharon Goben Showens. Isabelle Goben died at age 77 years old on June 11, 1995, and was buried on June 15, 1995 at Davenport Memorial Park 1022 E 39th St, in Davenport.

Introduction

Isabelle Koeppel was born September 29, 1917 to Fredrick and Elmira Marie Carrington Koeppel. She lived in Davenport, IA. In 1935, Isabelle Koeppel married John "Jack" Goben. Together, they had three daughters, Georgia, Donna, and Sharon. In 1953, her husband Jack died. Isabelle got a driver's license in 1953 after her husband died and worked hard to support her three daughters, doing factory work at Oscar Mayer Food Corp. and later for Wonder Bread Bakery. She retired from Wonder Bread Bakery in 1982, and started volunteering for her church, First Baptist Church. Isabelle was an avid sewer, making many quilts for her family, enjoyed dressing dolls, and playing Bingo. Isabelle also enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
