    Isabelle's social security card was issued in Iowa before 1951. The Social Security Administration also states that she lived in Boulder Colorado at some point as an adult and in the 1980s she lived in Lakewood CO and Denver. Her obituary in Waterloo Iowa (The Courier August 26 2009) ,states that she was 100 yrs old when she died and that her middle name was Loar. Memorial services were at Mountain View United Methodist Church in Boulder CO and that she was inurned in Fairmount Cemetery, Denver.

In 1909, in the year that Isabelle L Farnham was born, the U.S. penny was changed to the Abraham Lincoln design. The Lincoln penny was so popular that it soon had to be rationed and it sold on the secondary market for a quarter. Abraham Lincoln was the first historical figure to be on a U.S. coin - which was released to commemorate his 100th birthday. This penny was also the first U.S. cent to include the words "In God We Trust.".

The President who championed a woman's right to vote also created a day in their honor.
