Note: While her mother's name is given as REVELL Iva's only child, Robert spelled it REVEL. It was his middle name. Birth and family name information provided courtesy of Clifford Ocheltree She was a fulltime housewife, living on South Grand Ave, Carthage, MO. She passed away on Jan 20, 1912 at 5am, diagnosed with rheumatism of the heart at the age of 37. Burial was at Park Cemetery on Jan 21st under the direction of Knell Undertaking Company Missouri Death Certificate informant: G.C.     CARTHAGE EVENING PRESS JANUARY 20, 1912 MRS. G. C. KELLOGG DEAD WELL KNOWN CARTHAGE WOMAN PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING AT THE HOME Had Been Ill Three Weeks - Funeral at the Home Mrs. G. C. Kellogg died at 5 o'clock this morning, at the Kellogg home on Grand Avenue, after an illness of three weeks. For the past week Mrs. Kellogg's condition had been critical. All hope that she might recover was given up and only her wonderful vitality kept her alive so long. She suffered from a complication of tonsillitis and rheumatism, which affected the heart. She is survived by her husband, and two small children. Also a brother, Ellsworth Meeker, the latter a resident of New York City. Mrs. Kellogg was born in Newport, Kentucky and was 36 years old. Her earlier years were spent with her parents at Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio. It was at Cincinnati eleven years ago she married G. C. Kellogg and immediately after came with her husband to this city. Mrs. Kellogg was a woman of many accomplishments and was much admired in Carthage. She was prominent socially and her death will cause much sorrow among friends in this city who were much attached to her. The funeral was held at the Kellogg home on Grand Avenue. Rev. F. M. Weddell, rector of Grace Episcopal church conducted the service.
