He was the parent of Barbara Jean Rodgers Jackson. He married Dixie Ray Boyd Zickefoose. He would also marry Virginia Dare Corbell Zickefoose, and they had a child Ann Zickefoose Morgan. Ivan Zickefoose died at age 81 years old on April 26, 1997 in Amarillo, Potter County, TX, and was buried on April 28, 1997 in Amarillo.
