Jack Cope was born on February 20, 1917 in Copeville, Collin County, Texas United States to Benjamin Herman Cope, Sr. and Beulah (Morgan) Cope, and had siblings Benjamin Herman "B. H." Cope, Jr., Janice Cope, Billy James "B. B." Cope, Sr., Jess Cope, and Patsy M. "Pat" (Cope) Loew. Jack Cope married Enola (Trice) Cope, and died at age 61 years old on May 29, 1978 in McKinney.
