James Barley Sharp of Irish Town, Christ Church Geelong Parish County Australia was born in 1853 in Irishtown, Mount Alexander Shire County, VIC to James Barley Sharp and Eleanor Markham Sharp. He had siblings Eva Agnes Sharp, Henry Clarke Sharp, Mary Ann Sharp Wadelton, Ellen (Sharp) Ingamells, and Sarah Elizabeth (Sharp) Brown. He married Harriet Ruth (Summers) Sharp in 1880, and died at age 67 years old on July 19, 1921 in Brunswick, Victoria. James Sharp was buried at Coburg Pine Ridge Cemetery Elizabeth St, in Preston, City of Darebin County, VIC.
