James Blowfield 1815 - 1880

James Blowfield was born in 1815 in Westleton, Suffolk County, England United Kingdom to Hannah Forster and John Blowfield. He married Sarah Annie Mason, and they had a child Violet Templara Blowfield. He also married Sarah Ann Hill, and they had children Sarah Ann Eliza Blowfield(Symes), John William James Blowfield, and George Rowland Hill Blowfield. He would also marry Frances Keiff. James Blowfield died at age 65 years old in 1880 in Hobart, TAS Australia, and was buried in New Town.

    James married Frances Keiff in London 1843.James was Court Marshalled for desertion,sent to Van Diemans Land on the convict ship "Fairlie"in 1852. James was given a pardon in 1853, and married Sarah Ann Hill.Sarah died in Hobart 1867 aged 36,James in 1868 married Sarah Annie Mason. MARRIAGES.(The MERCURY,HOBART,TAS.) BLOWFEILD-MASON-On the 9th January, 1868, by the Rev. J. W. Simmons, at his residence, 162 Macquarie street, by licence, Mr. James Blowfield, Boot Maker, formerly of H.M. Coldstream Regiment of Foot Guards, to Sarah Annie Mason, third daughter of Mr. Samuel Mason, Richmond, both of this city.
