James Carl Marvin, born January 19, 1983 died recently after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 1pm Thursday at Northern Light United Church.
The son of Reginald and Renae Marvin of Juneau, James Carl is also serviced but a half-sister Trisa, a half-brother Jeremy and a sister Geraldeen Marvin.
Other survivors include his maternal grandparents Miles and Betty Murphy, paternal grandmother Frances Marvin, step grandparents Assunta Hill and aunts and uncles Carl and Rita Marvin, George Marvin, Larry and Pat Marvin, Jim and Charlotte Duncan, Wallace Marvin, Janice and Charles Bennett, Charlene Osborn, Twila, Kathleen and Miles (III) Murphy; and Sherman, Christopher and Rick Sumdum.
Other surviving grandparents are Mr and Mrs David Marvin, Mr and Mrs Harvey Marvin, Mr and Mrs Richard Marvin, and Mrs Julia Thomas. He also had 47 surviving cousins in the immediate family.
Pallbearers will be Miles Murphy III, Larry Marvin, Wally Marvin, and Christopher Sumdum.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Duncan, Carl Marvin Jr. George Marvin, Timothy Lindoff, Darrel Austin and Miles Murphy II.
In lieu of flowers, the parents request that donations be made to the Hospice of Juneau, AK
