Mr. James Friley born August 30, 1946 departed this life on Friday August 5, 2011 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 64-years, 11-months, and 5-days of age at the time of his passing. James was born in Fourseam, Ky the Son the of Agnes Grimes Friley and the late George Dewey Friley. James was also preceded in death by One Sister – Patty Ann Johnson, and Grandparents – Ida and Clarence Grimes. James was a Coal Miner and former Hazard Police officer from 1970 – 1977, and was an avid U.K. Fan. Mr. James Friley leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife – Betty Friley of Viper, Ky; Mother – Agnes Friley of Jackson, Ky; Two Daughters – Della Friley of Viper, Ky and Jenny Friley-Smith and Husband Travis of Christopher, Ky; Three Brothers – Grayson Friley and wife Jackie of Knott County, Roger Friley and wife Rose of Jackson, Ky and Billy Joe Friley of Jackson, Ky; One Sister – Peggy Allen and Husband Larry of Jackson, Ky; Two Grandchildren – Caitlyn Friley and Connor Friley, and a host of other relatives and friends , and many friends at dialysis also survives. Funeral Services for Mr. James Friley will be conducted on Tuesday August 9, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home on East Main Street with Curt Eversole and Grayson Friley officiating. Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard Perry County D.A.V. chapter 64. The visitation will be on Tuesday Evening at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home from 4:00 till 7:00 P.M.
