The Ballarat Star. Vic. 19th March 1888. A very old resident of Hiscocks, a miner named Moyle, aged 83, died on Saturday afternoon, after a few days of illness, from old age. He was apparently a smart old gentleman, very active, and was doing business in Buninyong a few days prior to his decease, seemingly in his good usual health. The Ballarat Star. Vic. 21st March 1888. The funeral of the late Mr. James Goldsworthy Moyle, miner, took place yesterday, and the remains were interred in the Buninyong Cemetery. A large number of miners and residents of Hiscocks attended.
