    James Joseph Lommel is the child of Helen Hattie Roth (1900-1959) and George Mathew Lommel. He was born on March 22, 1927 in Foley, Minnesota and had siblings Lois May (1921-1983) and Joseph Lommel (1925-1925). He grew up in St Cloud, Benton, Minnesota. On May 29, 1946 he married Nancy Carol Nanette Gustafson (1930-2002) in Minnesota and the couple had 5 children together. He lived in Modesto for 31 years and worked as a Real estate broker. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II who served from August 29, 1945 until his discharge from the Army on December 13, 1946. James was a member of the First Baptist Church, member of the SOS Club, and the Elks and American Legion. James Lommel passed away on Saturday February 6, 1988.
