My Aunt and Uncle at Farm Outside of Quanah, Texas
This is a picture of my step-Aunt and step-Uncle, Cora Ray Denton McSpadden, and James William (Jim Bill) Denton. This was at Cora Ray's home in the country where her husband, Bob, farmed. Jim Bill died on February 13, 2005. He is buried at Antioch Cemetery, Jackson County, near Eldorado, Oklahoma. He is buried near his father, Thomas Levi Denton, mother Edna Hibbits Denton, and brother Athel Denton. He was 87 years old.

Pictured is James William "Bill" Denton, the youngest of 4 children from Thomas Levi Denton and Edna Hibbits Denton. Bill's mother committed suicide when Bill was about 6 months old due to his older brother's, Athel's, death to diptheria.

Pictured with him are his step-sister, Willie Jo Gossett, and his half-sister, Bobby Denton.

He was in the service in the same unit as popular singer, Tennessee Ernie Ford.
