The following appeared in The Montgomery Advertiser in Montgomery Alabama on Sunday June 21st 1998: PROVEAUX, James K., 89, a resident of Greenville, AL died Thursday, June 18, 1998. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 21, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ebenezer East Baptist Church with the Reverend Don Yancey officiating. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer East Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville directing. Survivors include his wife, Erma Proveaux, Greenville, AL; three children, Larry Proveaux, Greenville, AL, Patricia Ann Proveaux, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Jim Bealle, Georgia; eight grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Mr. Proveaux will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p./m. until service time.ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
