    The following obituary appeared in The Gazette on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 on page 14: COLESBURG James L. "Jim" Kinyon, 49, of Lakewood, Colo., formerly of Colesburg, Iowa, passed away April 18, 2005, after a courageous 3-year battle with malignant melanoma. A memorial service will be held Thursday afternoon at Green Mountain Presbyterian Church in Lakewood. On Saturday, April 23, the family will greet friends at 1:30 p.m. at the Colesburg United Methodist Church, Colesburg. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Judy, of Lakewood; his parents, Linford and Marilyn Kinyon of Colesburg; and siblings, Jack Johnson of Edgewood, Judy Lohman of Ramona, Calif., Joy Kinyon of Buhl, Idaho, Jana Kinyon of Gays Mills, Wis., and Jeff Kinyon of Bartlett, Ill.
