James Oliver Leathers of Blytheville, Mississippi County, AR was born on January 23, 1932. He was the parent of Lorraine Leathers. He married Elaine "Letty" Leathers, and they had children Lorraine Leathers, Laura Leathers, and James Edward Leathers. James Leathers died at age 76 years old on May 21, 2008, and was buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Section 1GC Site 409 2900 Sheridan Road, in St. Louis, Mo.
