Grew up with James and the family
James was two years older than me but was best friends with my brother Eddy Dixon growing up. James was always very outgoing and full of jokes. James my brother Eddy, James's brother Richard, me, Mike McDaniels live on the same block and had some good times. If Rich or the McDaniels see this contact me on Facebook, Norman Dean Dixon.

My childhood friend...
James was my childhood friend. He was a natural born leader and a good, upstanding person. Loyal friend. He was in the service for a short time. He died after he and a friend became lost while hunting in the MT mountains in the winter. In spite of suffering himself, when his friend succumbed to the elements, he stopped to bury him.
