    The Rev. J. Walter Martin Husband of Thelma Monroe Martin, Father of Jimmy, Nancy, Charlie, Christine, Norman, Larry and Richard Martin. A life long resident of Tar Heel, NC Ham Radio Operator "W4EJR - Jim" Walter as he was known was Pastor of Love Grove Baptist Church located in Tar Heel, He was a the organ player at the church for many years after he resigned from Pastor. His body was taken to the church and remained till removal following the funeral services. This was the first to have this honor by the church. He was a general service repairman, He was known for fixing TV and radios, Washer, Dryers and other appliances. May His Memory For Ever Live On

J. Walter Martin, Sr was my father, He was a teacher and a hard worker, He enjoy the ministry of JESUS and live his life as such. He bowled at LBC until his death and enjoyed it. He was married to Thelma M Martin for 39 years and 11 month, They Truly Loved each other.
