Jamil loved his children and family.Jamil enjoyed writing poetry and fishing.Jamil spent a great deal of time with his maternal grandparents and he loved them very much.Jamil was born as Samuel Lafonze Peete but had name change following his religious beliefs as a Muslim along with his mother Naima Mateen (formerly Freddye Odom)Jamil was the only child of Naima Mateen and was the eldest Child of 4 boys on his father's side.Jamil was loyal and true to everything he loved and believed in.Jamil is survived by 3 siblings and 2 children,his grandparents and stepmother passed away within a few years of his own passing.Jamil is missed dearly........
