Jane (Corben) Raymond was born in 1844 to Thomas Corben and Esther (Woodrow) Corben, and had siblings Thomas William Corben and Martha (Corben) Young. She was in a relationship with George Nelson Raymond, and had children George Arthur Raymond and George Alfred Raymond. Jane Raymond died at age 63 years old on October 6, 1908 in Healesville, Yarra Ranges Shire County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Healesville Cemetery 182 Mt Riddell Rd, in Healesville.
