Jane Howitt of Australia was born in 1868 to William Kirkwood Howitt and Mary Ann (Stalker) Howitt. She had siblings Elizabeth Howitt, Agnes Louisa Howitt, Jane Howitt, Mary Ellen Stalker Howitt, Elizabeth Howitt, Agnes Howitt, Alfred William Howitt, John Alex Howitt, and William Howitt. Jane Howitt died at age 6 years old in 1874.
