Add Memories, Stories & Photos about Jean

Jean was my paternal grandmother, she was the best friend I could have ever asked for, she was such a beautiful, kind and loving woman. She taught me how to sew, crochet and quilt. She told me endless stories about her life, her childhood and about our family history and traditions. She was so artistic and creative, always coming up with a new project to work on. She loved to shop and had so many purses and shoes when I was little I used to tease her that she could open her own store and that god knew she definitely never needed to get any more of either. She was patient and listened to me when I talked whether it was about something serious or just a silly story I made up as a kid. She played endless hours of dress up, house, dolls, and so many other games kids love but adults usually don't have the endurance to play for more than a few minutes. She was my ride or die that's one hundred percent true. For all the great memories I still have of her from my childhood I learned to appreciate her on a dick level as a got older and life got hard. I have been in and out of psych wards, drug addiction and prison bids and after every single thing I lost in mu lifetime she's the one I miss the most. She was the best person I ever knew, and she never once left me to question her love for me and I hope she knows that even though I I actively using and on the run when she passed Imy love for her is just as unbroken. Now I write this with almost 6 mths clean my longest time in sobriety in my life. I miss her desperately and I have no contact with anyone else in my family but if anyone reading this knew her and has anything a picture of her or something she gave them or even a memory you wouldn't mind sharing it would mean the world yo me.
