Most beloved mother of Steven David Kenneth (wife Rose), Toledo, OH; Paula Jean Kenneth (husband, Dan Jaggers and son Taylor), Cape Coral, FL.; David Alan Kenneth (wife Jan Marie and son Corbin) Waconia, MN; Robert Charles Kenneth (partner James D. Ingram), Portland, OR; Matthew Paul Kenneth, Portland, OR; Barbara Anne Kenneth (husband James Biever and daughter Hannah), Bend, OR. Treasured friend/ companion to Shirley and Edmund Rosendahal, Neskowin, OR; Jack Schafer, Medford, OR. An accomplished painter and pianist, a sumptuous master gardener, an avid and eager world traveler, a loving protector of animals large and small, and a voracious explorer of the inner self and the outer world, her life touched countless individuals who were enriched by knowing her. Jean's passing leaves a painful void in the hearts of all who celebrated in her wry humor, her boundless curiosity and sense of fun, her wondrous intellect and talents, her unquestioning generosity, and her genuine love affair with life, a magnificent woman, as part of, and ahead of her times. In life's bright morn I see thee depart, I see thee go with a trembling heart Farewell, sweet maid, so joyous and free, God's blessing ever abide with thee When thou dost stand where the ways divide May the angel guardian be beside & God grant thou may choose the narrow way and from it may thy footsteps never stray (from The Catholic Girl Guide, 1934) A private service was held on August 10, at Holman's Funeral Home, Portland OR., with a reception at the Kenneth home in Ridgefield.
