She was of Polish American Heritage, having had both parents born in Poland! Jeannette was the "first-born generation" to be born in Chicago, Illinois. Her father was an accomplished musician, who also was a violin-maker. Music inhabited "family-life & activities" among she and her 7 siblings. Moving to the "land-of Opportunity" "America", had provided immigrants with "open; doors" to a new-life of vast choices . A "family bi-lingual Store" was established with family participation in Chicago and soon became a media success with the flood of immigrants needing emotional support thru the assimilation process. After several years SAJEWSKI MUSIC STORE also provided "multi-lingual" music, instruments and accessories. Her voice was a gift of love, as she recorded many bilingual songs with her culeratura soprano-range whether sacred hymns, folk ,classical or opera.

She had the voice of an angel!!

Jeannette was born and raised in a Polish ethnic neighborhood in
Chicago. As a gifted Soprano, her early elementary school
solos launched her into stage and church performances . The attention of several recording producers approached her with an offer to cut a series of "ethnic Folk
songs" to be sung in Polish. This "offer" launched for her a blessed future that
continued for 15 years. She recorded many records of both religious and secular
(bilingual) & traditional songs.
