Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

Jeanette was a loving crazy old lady who cursed in French. After her husband's death in 1986, Jeanette lived alone in their home located in York, Me. She never remarried or had a relationship (that I remember). She liked to take up hobbies with her best friend Rita, such as blowing glass; and hobbies with her daughter such as Bunka. Jeanette held Christmas and Thanksgiving for her children & grandchildren of which we have many memories . Jeanette loved going out to eat Chinese food. She sold her house in York, Me and bought a house in Rochester, NH in the early 1990s. She sold that house in the mid-1990s and moved to an apartment in Massachusetts close to her late husband's burial gravesite. She developed Alzheimer's disease and moved to Ocala, Fl to live with her daughter Maryellen Marcantonio and her husband Tom. She had such health failing that she was put into a nursing home in 2001 where her health gave out almost instantly and died shortly thereafter. Jeanette was brought back to Massachusetts and buried next to the love of her life, Lester Brozeau. Jeanette was survived by her daughters, Gail Mather, Maryellen Marcantonio; Her son David Brozeau; Her grandchildren Richard Marcantonio, Timmy Marcantonio, Suzy Marcantonio-Self, Richard Mather, Janice Mather-Cole, Angela Brozeau, Corey Brozeau; Her great-grandchildren, Jeremy Mather. (at time of death) . Since her passing she has gained more great-grandchildren. A special note: Jeanette and Lester Brozeau also had another child who sadly passed away when she was 12years old.
